Town of Winhall Full-Time Position The Winhall Police & Rescue Department is accepting applications for full-time patrol officer/EMT position. The Town of Winhall is located in south central Vermont in the heart of ski country in Bennington County. The Winhall Police & Rescue Department is a progressive full-service (24/7) community-based Department providing policing and emergency medical first responder services to the Town of Winhall and the Stratton Mountain Resort Communities. Requirements: Minimum age requirement of 20 years old; must have a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to work well with and interact with our community. The hiring process will include, application process, physical fitness as well as a medical exam, polygraph, psychological exams, interview and a complete background investigation. Preference will be given to those applicants who are currently certified through the Vermont Criminal Justice Council (VCJC). However, those without certification are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant may be assigned to any available shift, including weekends and holidays. If the successful applicant is not already certified as an EMT, the Winhall Police Department will pay for and provide this mandatory training/certification.
